This is an owner operated tour company. I have a passion for astronomy and an amazing telescope. I love to share both with my guests under one of the clearest night sky’s that can be found anywhere in the world. It is truly a one of a kind experience I guarantee will stay with you for many years to come.
What To Expect:
I offer you the chance to come meet me in a remote part of the island with very little light pollution. We will drive a short distance and while we enjoy the sunset together I will familiarize you with my top of the line Dobsonian telescope. As soon as the sun goes down the moon, planets, and some bright stars become visible. We may look at a few of these objects depending on what is available. As the stars come out I will, with the use of a laser pointer, show you the constellations above as well as any other naked eye objects worth note. Once the sky has reached peak darkness we will again turn our attention to the telescope where we can view beautiful stars, ghostly nebula, incredible star clusters, and even entire galaxies up to millions of light years away. All the while I will of course tell you all about what we are seeing and do my best to answer any questions you may have. When you are ready, you will have your own vehicle to take yourself home to your accommodations. Hopefully with a whole new appreciation of the night sky, and memories that will last a lifetime.
What Is Included:
A beautiful night under the stars. A knowledgeable guide. The use of a telescope that allows for clear resolution of up to 300x. I will also provide water, snacks, microfiber blankets, and hot coco.
